I am an Assistant Research Fellow at the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, Taiwan. Before joining Academia Sinica, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University from 2020 to 2022. I received my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from National Chiao Tung University in 2020, under the supervision of Professor I-Chen Wu. During my Ph.D., I led the development of the computer Go program CGI, which won multiple gold medals at the Computer Olympiad and second place at the first World AI Go Open in 2017. My current research interests include reinforcement learning, planning, and computer games.
Join Us: I am looking for self-motivated research assistants, postdoctoral researchers, and students who are passionate about research in reinforcement learning, planning, game AI, and related topics. For graduate students, I can advise master's and Ph.D. students through the Data Science Degree Program at National Taiwan University and Ph.D. students through the TIGP SNHCC program. Undergraduate interns from any university are also welcome.
